    What a little gem! Absolutely delicious food in a timeless setting. We had the steak sandwich ($18), steak ($29) and Bratwurst ($22), then rhubarb crumble+icecream ($10) to end - would recommend all! Only downside is that the mains portions are little on the small side (considering the price). Maybe avoid if you're in hurry too as this is a one-man show. I'd also change the lightbulb in the ladies, haha. Other than that, Cafe Sofala was a real joy to stop at (especially after a few days camping!). Thank you!

    Lovely rustic setting inside & out, food is delicious cooked by a top of line chef, take a step back & experience the good old fashioned home cooked meals & hospitality.

    Choices are admittedly slim around Sofala but that doesn't detract from the quality of service and food you get here.
